For "Next Day" or Express, and FedEx shipments, the fee is cost of postage plus $2.00 handling.

** Sometimes research extends beyond the average turn-around time, when waiting on responses from other sources, such as government agencies. In such cases, we will contact you regarding the delay.

† Reimbursable Expenses include travel time & lodging outside the state of Iowa (or outside a 60-mile radius of Des Moines for Simple Record Search; no lodging charges in Iowa); travel expenses are charged at the rate authorized by the IRS. Travel time within Iowa is not charged as part of the Research package. Other reimbursable expenses include postage, photocopies, parking, repository computer charges, microfilm rental fees, and other itemized incidental expenses.
